Third Trimester!!

Hi Family and Friends!!

STATUS UPDATE

Baby Name - Still working on it.
Belly Button - Still an innie
Weight - Marina continues to expand
Baby Weight - About 2.5lbs (lots of sticks of German butter)
Kick Meter - Kicks constantly (10+ kicks per hour when sitting) and furiously; does not like it when Mama sits for long periods of time
Baby Room - crib is set up! We are debating about whether or not to invest in extra sheets/waterproof mattress pads.
Excercise - Today we started prenatal yoga for couples and since moving to our new hamlet we have been walking Kodjo in the forest or in the pastures 4 times per week. This afternoon we are playing golf and Marina is hopeful that her baby will provide a nice centerpoint for putting and won't interfere with her follow-through!
Baby Prep - We read "the Birth Book" by Dr. Sears and we are preparing for the birth with learning new massage techniques, positions, and staying abreast on the pros and cons of medical intervention during childbirth. We also are reading "Happy Baby" by Dr. Sears' son, Dr. Sears, on how to raise a healthy, green baby. We are even considering using the baby g diapers! We have ordered a few DVDs online in lieu of childbirth classes.
