Over the past three weeks August has been growing by leaps and bounds!! Often times, August can be seen sporting a milk mustache and even has sideburns!! He is learning to "communicate" with Mommy and Daddy, sometimes rather loudly, and has an array of adorable facial expressions to accompany the noises. In the past week, in addition to heart-melting ear-to-ear grins, there have even been multiple sightings of August sticking out his bottom lip! He is awake for longer periods of time now and will spend hours checking out his surroundings.
August loves to go on walks or errands when he is in the Ergo Carrier (thank you Auntie Amber). We tried to take him on a walk in his stroller once and he lasted for one way of the trip and Mommy had to carry him back! He loves going on car rides but hates getting in and out of the car seat because the restraints hold back his expressive arms. August hates to be swaddled or restricted in any way, except when being held in someone's arms, where he has been known to curl up into a froglike position.
August has already become a world class traveler and has been to a few restaurants, the supermarket and countless bureaucratic offices. He never complains...As long as he is being held he is happy.
Did I mention he is perfect?
